Optimize Your Computer

Optimize Your Computer

The diagnostics that are related to computers can help to find problems or failures that computers show when they are having issues. This can really slow your computer down and cause many problems.  Diagnostics are used to test out the computer system, which includes both the BIOS and memory, software, and even the hardware that is attached to the computer.

The most common types of problems will occur when your computer is down to very low resources, which can either be a low amount of RAM, or a low disk space.  These conditions are very common, and generally result in your computer running very slow.  This can easily be fixed, all you have to do is defrag your hard drive, and get rid of some programs and files that you no longer use or need, this will help to speed your internet up as well.

For the most part,  all types of computer diagnostic software can find and fix just about any problem that you are having.  It normally starts off with a BIOS examination, and goes on from there.  PC diagnostics software can determine a lot from the BIOS, from the common settings to those that have a major impact on both boot up and performance.

No matter what you do, you should never modify or tamper with the BIOS settings, as it can lead to serious problems.  If you do plan to modify or mess with your BIOS, you should always create a backup first, just in case something goes wrong.  The BIOS settings can be very tricky, although they are responsible for a lot to do with your computer.  If you have never been in the BIOS before, you really shouldn’t be modifying anything inside of it.

Depending on the diagnostics program that you are using, there will be several different features available.  Right now, two of the most popular are Norton Systemworks and PC Doctor.  Both of these programs offer full diagnostics software, good for fixing just about any software related computer program you can imagine.  Another program which I have found to be far more effective on fixing and optimizing your PC, than any other program available is PC Booster by Inkline Global.

Once you run the program, you’ll be able to select the diagnostic test that you are planning to run.  Some offer you a full system scan, which will scan your entire computer and then display any problems that you having.  After displaying any problems, the software will normally give you an option to go ahead and fix it.  As long as the problem is nothing serious, the diagnostic software can generally fix it.

The more complicated problems, such as hardware failures or hard drive crashes, are a totally different story.  They will require a technician who is very experienced, that can rebuild the hardware.  Diagnostic software can report hardware problems to you, although most of the time it is unable to fix it.

There are other computer diagnostic software that you run after starting the computer or rebooting, that will check everything from BIOS.  These types are great, although PC Booster is far superior.  They offer far more features, including defragment, cache cleaner, and the option to delete your temporary Internet files.  These features are great to have, especially if you aren’t the technical type. PC Booster also offers an Internet Booster that is amazing its called Modem Booster

For more reasons than one, computer diagnostic software is the ideal way to find and prevent problems with your computer.  Norton Systemworks offers you Ghost as well, which is the perfect way to back up your data.  You can back up certain files, or just go ahead and back up your entire hard drive.  Systemworks and Ghost are very easy to use, even if you are completely new to computers.  For everything they offer you – computer diagnostic programs are the ideal way to prevent problems before they happen.

Here Are A Few Things You Can Do To Speed Internet Connection Up Within A Few Hours

Let me recap what I am sure most people are experiencing, because to be honest I have been experiencing the same thing up until a week ago. Ok, your computer is probably being unpredictable, running way slower than it usually does or then you would like it to. You try to open just a simple word doc or open an email and it takes, oh I don’t know, say 3-5 minutes..you with me so far? Good…at this point you are mumbling some pretty ugly things about Internet explorer and what a piece of S*&^ it is right? Let’s not put the blame on IE now o.k.? Just last week your computer seemed just fine. You need to go on the net and just to get a page to load takes forever. You’re thinking by now, there has got to be a way to speed your internet up, but what the heck can you do. Right? I know oh to well, believe me.  Today you are in luck, because I have done all the work for you and found out some things that are going to help you for the time being. So let’s get started, shall we?

First Things First, We Need To Do A Little House Cleaning

I know you are probably a pack rat, like I am, and you have files on your PC that you probably haven’t seen since Seinfeld went off the air. Why are they still there? Doesn’t matter let’s get rid of some of them. This is part of the reason your computer is starting to have a fit. Now, how about your booting? Its probably acting way too slow when you turn it on right? No problem, let’s go to your start menu and under search you need to type the command “msconfig” when you see it, click on it. A menu will open and you are going to chose the tab which says start up. Under that tab you are going to see a little box that says “Hide Microsoft items” or “windows” etc. Check that little box. Then in the bottom right corner chose unchecked all, then click apply. Viola, you just contributed in our quest to speed your internet up.  Now we are going to go to our friend Internet Explorer (or Opera, FireFox, Chrome) or which ever browser you fancy, and you are going to go to the Tools menu. Chose the internet option, and you want to clear your cache. After that do the same for the Temporary Internet Files and Cookies etc. Once that is all done, let’s give it a whirl. Re-start your PC.

Lets Find A Little Assistance

Your boot up was probably a little faster now wasn’t it? It should have been, but if not we are going to find a little help.  Our next step is to find out what kind of protection, if any, your computer has. By that I mean, firewall, virus protection etc. You must make sure your computer is always guarded against these dreadful little creatures that may infest your PC.  Finding a good program that can handle these things and clean up some things under the hood, that I am sure you don’t know about, is our most important quest. When I went through this myself, trying to speed Internet connection up, I found a program called PC Booster that was by far better than anything I have ever used. There are others you could look at like zone alarm or Norton etc, I have found, however that some of these programs take up a lot of unnecessary RAM or Memory of your computer which makes it run much slower, but its entirely up to you. I was also able to get a bonus deal from PC Booster which was Modem Booster, which will speed your internet up by about 150% and it’s getting faster. Pretty sweet eh?

By applying this easy task you will be able to immediately increase the speed of your PC and it should speed Internet connection up some as well. Check out PC Booster and Modem Booster first ,together these bad boys will sky rocket your PCs performance.

A Good Rule Of Thumb

While you are using your PC or Notebook, it is a good idea to keep a pad of paper and a pen/pencil, and write down issues that you are having right when they happen. For example, let’s say you wanted to download a file and during the last part of the download your computer freezes. Write that down. Pin pointing the problems that you are having rather then just stating them in general, will help you in the long run to speed your Internet up, and have your computer running like an Olympian.

There are many different ways to speed your internet up and  types of Internet speed tests that one can take to get a better understanding of what types of speed their computer is really running at, at to make sure that your ISP is giving you the real amount of Internet speed that you are paying for.

Some tests that are conducted consist of measuring how long it takes to load a test page on a server and displaying it on your browser. The outcome of this test could be interrupted by many different factors. Some of these interruptions would come from Internet congestion, ISP bandwidth, how your modem is configured are among just some that will affect the download speed. Regardless of the factors that may affect the outcome, it is still a good test to determine your transfer rate and how fast it really is. These are all very important if you want to speed your internet up

Included amount the effective ways of testing your modem speed would be using FTP. This procedure is good for testing your modem’s ability to download compressed files, most likely zip files from an ISP using FTP programs like Filezilla or Cute FTP. It works best if you dial directly into your Internet service provider instead of your POP server. You may have to pay a bit extra to do it this way however it elliminates any problems with congestion that may hinder the test.

1). Modem speed tests are, for the most part, tested on analogue dial up modems and some on ISDN. Testing higher speed modems like DSL or cable modems can come up inconclusive. Here are some of the typical modem speed tests that are performed:

2). firewall tests should be conducted often and are pretty easy to do. This will help you speed your internet up since firewalls spend a lot of time blocking everything. There are generally two types Basic and Advanced.

3). Internet connection speed tests for Cable, Broadband, Satellite and DSL will determine your actual bandwidth.

4). Some Popup Tests will help to verify if the ad blocking software you use is truly capable of stopping ads from popping up.

5). There are many free Broadband speed tests, which will determine if you can speed your internet up and  that you can take online that are pretty right on and easy to use. The results are not that hard to understand and it will reveal the truth about how much your Internet service provider or broadband is really giving you. You can use the results and your provider that they need to give you an increase Internet speed, if it falls short.

You can also tweak Hidden Internet Settings which will optimize window settings for a faster Internet! One of the best that I have found is through PC Booster and Modem Booster which you can find here: Speed up Connection To Internet these programs work on all kinds of Internet connections and have been rated one of top programs for optimizing your PC’s performance and to Speed Internet connection up. Modem Booster now works on all Internet connections, even high speed Internet access connections!

Dial-up, DSL, ADSL, Cable modem speeds can all be improved with this Internet accelerator! This Internet speed booster will take care of any slow connection, you may have, that is interrupting your Internet fun. You could get speed increased  up to 300%! That is unheard of! This is due to a proprietary PING induced technology that Modem Booster possess.  Why suffer from effective Internet speeds when you can max it out with Modem Booster. Go and check these two awesome programs. NOW!! Here is the Link…http://www.trker.com/go/52475/PcBoost

Are you struggling with a slow running computer? Wish you could speed your internet up? Has your PC decided to just go south and start taken, what seems like forever, to open just a simple doc file? I feel your paid. My computer started acting the exact same way. Possibly mostly all my fault. I am a hard core computer user since most of my business revolves around my PC. There are times I have three different mail programs open, I am working on an excel spreed sheet, I am listening to music , and to put the icing on the cake I have Photoshop open too.  Why is it so difficult to find ways to speed your Internet up?

I am sure it has alot to do with your computers ability to handle the multi programs and registry issues. I had to find out for sure so I did a PC speed test to see if that was part of the reason why I was not getting a faster internet speed. I sure did not want to fork up a bunch of money for additional hardware. I am not much of a techy guy but I was dead set on finding some way to at least improve my Internet download speed.

I don’t know if the results shocked me or If I was kind of already expecting what the outcome would be.  All I can say is I needed a major tune up and I needed it yesterday! I did some research and I actually found what is known as a PC Booster.  It claimed it would optimize, stabilize and speed up my PC. I have been down that road before with Those Registry cleaners and PC Doc’s, and all they did was tell me to un-install, turn off things from my boot menu and delete some files. Like I didn’t know that already.

It had some pretty darn great reviews from some very well known companies and it didn’t cost much at all so what the heck. Anything would be an improvement  to what I was going through with my PC.  The cool thing was that I got a modem booster along with it too which said it would show you how to speed Internet up.  I did a few free speed tests I downloaded from the Internet so that I could get a feeling for my Internet connection speed and some basis analysis of my computers hard drive processing speed. I am not even going to tell you how long that took but I think I fell asleep somewhere in between the speed test.

Alright moving right along  I think Christmas came early because within just a few minutes of performing some of the simple tasks, already it was 5 times better. It cleaned up stuff that I didn’t even know where lurking around my hard drive, added and removed some window components and it increased my Internet speed by 100%. This puppy was a winner. Security is no longer a problem and talk about speed your internet up! My Internet download speed was top notch and the part that I loved the most was that my computer was no longer freezing!!! Hands down I would recommend PC Booster and Modem Booster To anyone.

It completely changed the way that I work now. I am not all frustrated anymore and I didn’t have to spend money on upgraded memory or hardrive expansions.  Take it from me, I am super picky and very scepticle about everything and without a doubt I was blown away with the outcome. I am sure you will too. If you want to speed your Internet up and improve your PCs performance, this is the creme De la creme.
